Since 1996 Nuwani Construction provides a full range of professional services in Industrial, Commercial, and Civil construction projects throughout Sri Lanka. Over the past 20 years we have successfully completed over 100 projects for international and local clients. We have built facilities for electronic chip manufacturing, fully automated beverage production, state of the art garments production, cigar manufacturing, mass scale printing, tile and bath-ware production, state of the art cool rooms, logistics centers, cement fiber roof sheet production and many more multidisciplinary industrial projects.
We have also successfully completed five to ten storied commercial buildings for universities, Schools, housing schemes and office complexes. Our civil works include large scale land development, earth work, retaining walls, waste water treatment plants, water retaining structures and shoring works. We have also completed hotels and resorts for foreign and local clients. Apart from that we have also completed major residential construction projects for high end foreign and local clients.
The company employs professional staff consisting of project managers, engineers, land surveyors, quantity surveyors, technical officers and supervisors. The company has engaged over 350 persons to perform the construction activities. Our staff maintains a strong connection and a good relationship with architects, engineers and clients for whom projects have been delivered successfully completed on schedule. The company also have over 250 vehicles, plants and equipments and is served by qualified mechanical engineering team based at our maintenance and repair center at Kadawatha. We have achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and also in the process of achieving ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OSHAS).

Pre Construction

Design-Build
In a design-build project, we can minimize the project risk for our clients and reduce the delivery schedule by overlapping design phase and construction phase of a project. As a design-build contractor, we are capable of undertaking design-build projects by collaborating with architects, and engineers.
Green Construction
We are ever conscious about the environment we live today. People, governments, institutions, corporations and businesses around the world are realizing the importance of being environment friendly in order to be sustainable. In this realization, construction industry has become a key player in facilitating green (sustainable) technologies to day-to-day life and work.
USGBC LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is being given in new and existing construction based on Sustainable sites, Water efficiency, Energy and atmosphere, Materials and resources, Indoor environmental quality, and Innovation and design process. We can undertake construction projects with LEED Certification requirements and also assist you with achieving the desired rating by evaluating the design, budget and timeline goals.
Industrial Construction
Nuwani has carried out large Industrial Construction projects in the field of manufacturing. We have achieved the highest ICTAD grade C-1 for building construction, which we are capable of undertaking the most complex projects out there in the market. We have gained a vast array of experience in Industrial Construction from design evaluation, site preparation, building erection to infrastructure development.
In the process of industrial construction we have also specialized in supplying, erection, and maintenance of Prefabricated Steel Buildings based on design, budget and timeline requirements of our clients. Some of our key clients include Omega Line Ltd, Wickramarathna (Pvt) Ltd, Rocell Bathware (Ltd), Texlan Lanka Limited, and Mast Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
Commercial Construction
Nuwani has engaged in many Commercial Construction projects throughout Sri Lanka. We have successfully constructed Office Buildings, Shopping Complexes, School Buildings, Hotels and Public Housing Complexes for our clients with-in their design, budget and timeline goals. We recognize the quality of final product and are capable of delivering exceptional results for our valued customers. Civil Construction
By engaging in infrastructure development at large Industrial Construction projects and possessing heavy machinery and equipments, Nuwani has gained a sound knowledge in Civil Construction. We are capable of large earth moving, earth compaction, and road work activities.
Residential Construction
